Organic Yellow Flint Corn

from $5.25

Our Yellow Flint Corn has a noticeably creamy sweetness, and rich flavor. Pairs well with everything from classic Italian red sauce to roasted mushrooms, or braised greens.

Organic Yellow Flint Corn grown by Meadowlark Organics in Ridgeway, WI.

All of our stone ground corn is Open Pollinated, which means it is naturally pollinated by the wind. This allows us to save our seeds and improve our own farm’s variety year over year by selecting for preferred features like flavor, texture, kernel hardness, and plant health.

Yellow Corn Flour is a silky soft, very fine flour with a pale yellow color. Use it in cakes, cookies, pastries, pancakes, and more.

Whole Grain Cornmeal is bright golden yellow, perfect for making cornbread, adding to pancakes, and other baked goods.

Polenta is a medium grind with the corn flour removed, cooks up into a creamy porridge.

Coarse Polenta is ideal for chunky Southern style corn porridge, or as a grain soaker for bread baking.

Whole Kernels are great for home milling and nixtamalization.

A portion of the proceeds from all bean and corn sales will be donated to Ohe·láku, a nonprofit made up of Oneida families relearning how to grow traditional White Corn together. Learn more here.

All of our flours are stone milled which preserves the rich flavor and nutritional value of the grain. Best within 6 months - refrigerate or freeze for longer storage.
