Small Red "Cayenne" Beans

from $4.50
sold out

Don’t let the cultivar name fool you, these aren’t spicy! These beans are small, plump, and creamy and are great for soups and stews. We call them the “everything” bean, as they’re a good chili, refried, and baked bean.

We’ve done our best to clean and sort beans, but it’s always a good idea to pick through and give them a good rinse before you get cooking.

These beans are NOT certified organic. They were grown using organic production methods on land undergoing a 3 year transitional period to becoming certified organic.

A portion of the proceeds from all bean and corn sales will be donated to Ohe·láku, a non-profit made up of Oneida families relearning how to grow traditional White Corn together. Learn more here.

Grown by Meadowlark Organics in Blue Mounds, WI as part of a diverse rotation.
